Claimed a number of amateur titles, including the 2021 U.S. Junior Amateur, before committing to the University of Alabama.

Won the U.S. Amateur in 2023, becoming the second person in history to win both the U.S. Junior Amateur and U.S. Amateur alongside Tiger Woods. Represented the United States at the Walker Cup and Eisenhower Trophy that same year.

In 2024, received a sponsor invitation to play in The American Express, which we went on to win, becoming the first amateur player to win a PGA TOUR event since 1991. Moved up to Number One on the World Amateur Golf Ranking before immediately turning professional after his victory.

Forfeited his exemption in to The 152nd Open after turning professional, but won his second PGA TOUR title in the Alternate Event played the same week, the Barracuda Championship.
