Form horse: Robin Sciot-Siegrist
Robin Sciot-Siegrist has demonstrated his consistency on the Road to Mallorca this year with only two missed cuts in 18 starts and he currently sits in ninth position on the Rankings. The Frenchman recorded his second runner up finish of the season at last week’s Indoor Golf Group Challenge, a tournament reduced to 54 holes due to inclement weather in the Helsingborg area, with his previous second place coming at the Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge last month. The 28-year-old will be hoping for another strong performance in Belgium this week to cement his place in the top 20 on the Rankings and subsequently secure DP World Tour playing rights for 2023.
Home favourite: Christopher Mivis
Christopher Mivis made a fantastic start to the 2022 season with back-to-back runner up finishes at the Bain's Whisky Cape Town Open and Jonsson Workwear Open during the South African Swing. The Belgian hasn’t recorded a top ten finish since and has recently slipped out of the top 20 on the Rankings, however he will be hoping a return to home soil this week can provide the catalyst for an upturn in form.
The outsider: Tadeáš Tetak
Tadeáš Tetak has shown glimpses of unearthing his potential this season and he is looking to take advantage of another start on the Challenge Tour in Belgium. The Slovakian posted a eight under par 64 to lead the Big Green Egg German Challenge powered by VcG after the first round, before eventually finishing in a tie for 28th. Tetak is looking to follow in the footsteps of countryman Rory Sabbatini, who won the silver medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics, and inspire the next generation of golfers in Slovakia.
