Following the 87th Masters Tournament, we look at some of the standout numbers as Jon Rahm won his first Green Jacket with a four-shot victory at Augusta National Golf Club.
ONE
Rahm returns to the top of the Official World Golf Ranking with his win at Augusta, climbing from third to first to displace 2022 Masters winner Scottie Scheffler at the summit.
With his win, the Spaniard becomes the first player from Europe to win both the U.S. Open and the Masters in his career.
TWO
This is Rahm’s second Major victory, following on from his maiden success at the 2021 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines Golf Course.
He is the second player to double-bogey the first hole of his opening round at the Masters and then go on to win, joining Sam Snead (1952).
FOUR
Rahm becomes the fourth Spaniard to celebrate victory at the Masters, following in the footsteps of two-time winners Seve Ballesteros and José María Olazábal, and Sergio Garcia.
He has also now won four titles in 2023, having already won the Sentry Tournament of Champions, the American Express and the Genesis Invitational earlier this season on the PGA TOUR.
SIX
Spain becomes the second most successful country for Masters wins after the United States.
It was Rahm's sixth win in his last 13 starts on the DP World Tour or PGA TOUR.
SEVEN
Rahm was making his seventh Masters appearance. Alongside his victory, he also boasts four other top tens and is he is yet to miss a cut.
NINETEEN
The number of birdies made by Rahm across the four rounds - a total only bettered by Jordan Spieth and Phil Mickelson (21).
TWENTY
This was a milestone 20th professional title for Rahm.
FORTY
The Spaniard’s success came 40 years after Ballesteros’ second Masters win in 1983.

Rahm was one of four players to shoot a seven under par 65 – the low round of the week. The other three were Brooks Koepka, Viktor Hovland and Mickelson.

Poignantly, Rahm’s Augusta triumph came on what would have been Ballesteros’ 66th birthday.
