Local hero Jimmy Nesbitt, with some help from members of the public, had the task of delivering the Amgen Irish Open trophy from last year’s venue The K Club to Royal County Down.
Ireland is known for its glorious landscapes, rich history, welcoming atmosphere and unwavering sense of community spirit. Ahead of this year’s Amgen Irish Open, we put that to the test.
Relying on the goodwill of the people of Ireland, we assigned Nesbitt and members of the local community with the duty of transporting the trophy from last year’s venue, The K Club, to Royal County Down across the Irish border.
Highlighting the different communities, characters and personalities involved, each character was tasked with helping Nesbitt by taking the trophy as far as they could before handing it over; working together to deliver the trophy ahead of this week's 2024 Amgen Irish Open.
