Visitors to The Sinclair Invitational on Friday August 30 are invited to attend an exclusive Q&A with Staysure Tour players Joakim Haeggman and Barry Lane on the Sinclair Show Stage at 2.30pm.
The duo will talk about their respective careers, the Staysure Tour, this week’s event and their plans for the future during an entertaining 30 minutes in the Spectator Village.
Lane is a five-time European Tour winner, former Ryder Cup player and seven-time Staysure Tour winner, most recently tasting victory at the Senior Italian Open in June when he triumphed in a play-off against France’s Marc Farry. The Englishman is also a former winner at Hanbury Manor having triumphed here in 2017 with a total of 22 under par following an incredible 12 under par second round.
Haeggman, meanwhile, is a three-time European Tour winner and Ryder Cup teammate of Lane at The Belfry Resort in 1993. The Swede tees it up this week in his Staysure Tour debut just two days after turning 50 and following a five-year break from competitive golf.
Then on Saturday, the last two winners on the Staysure Tour will take to the Sinclair Show Stage for a Q&A of their own.
Scottish Senior Open winner Paul Lawrie and Staysure PGA Seniors Championship victor Phillip Price will reminisce on their memories of The Ryder Cup, their careers on the European Tour, Major Championships and discuss life on the over-50s circuit from 3.45pm, followed by live music from 4.30pm.
Tickets to The Sinclair Invitational are still available and can be purchased here. Once through the gates of Hanbury Manor, spectators are welcome to attend the Q&A for FREE with a valid event ticket.
