Marcel Siem used his usual setup of driver, two fairway woods, three-nine iron, three wedges and a putter to win the Italian Open presented by Regione Emilia-Romagna, but there were changes in his bag from his first start of the DP World Tour season.
Since teeing it up at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open in December, the German changed his three wood from a Callaway Mavrik Sub Zero to a Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Max, also moving from 13.5 degree of loft to 15 degrees.
His only other club changes have been to switch his 50 and 58 degree wedges from SM9's to SM10's.
Siem has used the same putter - the Odyssey 2-Ball Ten Broomstick - since the Mallorca Open in 2022, having first used it at the 2021 Open Championship.
For his first four victories on the DP World Tour, spanning from the Dunhill Championship in 2004 to the BMW Masters in 2014, the German used TaylorMade equipment for his driver and three wood but he had re-signed with Callaway in early 2022.
Siem plays with a Titleist Pro V1 ball, from the 2019 range.
