The Basque player has his sights set firmly on title number three as he attempts to add to his victories in Madrid in 2018 and 2019 – the Cantabrian genius won his trio of Open de España trophies in 1981, 1985 and 1995.

Having seen off the competition in 2018 at the Centro Nacional de Golf and then finished atop the leaderboard a year later at the nearby Club de Campo Villa de Madrid, Rahm will be back at the famous Javier Arana designed Madrid course and will spearhead a sizeable group of home players in their quest to succeed Rafael Cabrera Bello, last year's champion, to the throne.

Tickets are now on sale for the 2022 ACCIONA Open de España presented by Madrid starting at €10 euros.

All fans can purchase their tickets on the official ACCIONA Open de España presented by Madrid website www.accionaopen.com to watch today's best golfers playing in one of the world's oldest tournaments, the third longest running in Europe.
