WATCH - Eddie Pepperell makes par from a toilet

Eddie Pepperell made possibly the par of the day at the 17th on day three of the acciona Open de España presented by Madrid after putting his tee-shot where nobody wants to go unless they need to go.

The Englishman sent his tee-shot a long way left and saw his ball scurry under a toilet but got a break as the presence of the grandstand meant he could go to the drop-zone by the side of the green.

While fans searched for his lost ball under the WCs, Pepperell looked like he had squandered his good fortune as he played a poor chip, only to hole from 18 feet and make a three.

"I played well on the front nine and then toilet on the back nine, I even ended up hitting some," he said.

"I felt sorry for the person in the toilet. I had no idea it was that far left. I knew it wasn't a very good shot but I didn't expect it to end up where it did.

"I got a very good break, really, and a bad chip and a very good putt. The putter bailed me out there at the end."

The best three of his life? It certainly wasn't a number two.
